Over the one year of working with us during our engagement and wedding ceremonies you have practically become a seemless addtion to our family. I cannot recommend Kevin of Arrowood Photography strongly enough. He was able to coax wonderful pictures from a decidedly camera hating bunch. His warmth, good humor, and professionalism was obvious to all involved. I was frequently complemented by guests, caterers, and other wedding vendors- hairstylist and salon staff- as to what a wonderful choice I had made in our photographer. He was everywhere he needed to be, but was never in the way. Everyone in my bridal party welcomed Kevin into our midst. He made everyone from mothers to myself, the bride, very comfortable and relaxed. And in the process, captured absolutely wonderful photos.

Kevin is the first photographer in 15 years who actually made me feel and look beautiful in photos. I am now a reformed camera hater- just as long as Kevin is behind the lens. My husband and I knew we had found the right photographer just minutes into our engagement photo session. He was able to recommend excellent locations and immediately put us at ease.

From our first meeting I knew that you were the one to photograph our wedding.  While it made me a little nervous to make such a quick decision (you were the first photographer we talked to and the only one we considered seriously) every interaction with you and every obsessive perusal of your website confirmed our decision over and over. Above and beyond your amazing talent, it is your personality, sensitivity and respect for the importance of the day that bring so much to your work and those qualities were all evident from the first meeting. I knew you would take care of us!

I really believe that our experience with you and Kevin transcended photography.  You were a fundamental part of our wedding that went beyond capturing the events on film. Kevin’s humor loosened everybody up and as a result we have some great shots of everyone laughing and just being themselves during the getting ready phase.  He physically threw himself into getting the absolute best shots.  There were many jokes on the dance floor about ‘the paparazzi in the trees’ when Kevin climbed up to catch us all from above.  From our friends we have shots of him in the background, sprawled on the ground, contorted into all sorts of positions to get the best shots.  That’s dedication!  For your part, your calm and complete understanding of the timing and flow for the day kept us moving on schedule without panic.   Perhaps the biggest compliment I can give is that you kept me calm which in turn helped me enjoy the day to an extent that I actually didn’t think possible.  Both you and Kevin were everywhere and yet completely unobtrusive; somehow you captured the most poignant moments and yet I have no recollection of you being anywhere near us.  So many of our guests commented on how great you guys were at the wedding--before they even saw the pictures!  It was obvious that you two are absolute professionals.

But of course the true measures of your success are the photographs and for those we simply cannot thank you enough.  They are amazing: intimate, unique, artistic and completely representative of our joy.  I feel that you truly ‘got’ us and were able to capture the personality of our party and the energy of the day.   Our memory of the best day of our lives (and the story of it that we will someday tell our children) will forever be shaped by your beautiful images and for that we are immensely grateful.  I recommend you and Kevin without reservation.

"Wow! Beautiful. Amazing"...We hear this each time someone views our wedding photos, which truly capture the beauty of each moment of our special day. We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you. You made a very difficult task of finding a photographer easy. Planning a wedding from a distance proved to be very interesting. From the moment I spoke to you on the phone I knew that I wanted you to document the art of our special day. I had called many companies and looked at many photographs of other photographers but you were the special touch that I was looking for. From understanding the difficulties we would have, to meeting, and busy schedules, you were so easy to deal with. When it came time to the big day you were a wonderful help to keep my mind somewhat sane and were very flexible as to what happened. Being able to look at me and see that I was hot and needed a break was nice but it really meant that you cared when you turned to me and said "Lets take a break, let me know when you want to continue."
