Approach

The manner in which light – both natural and designed – plays within an architectural space is the greatest satisfaction and challenge of photographing interiors. Traditionally in the days of film capture, the photographer overcame the challenges of photographing interiors by using large amounts of supplemental lighting, balancing the inside available light with daylight. Nowadays, digital photography allows us to photograph the space as ‘our eyes see it’ through shooting multiple exposures and layering them in post-production. Sometimes a small amount of light is required, but often not necessary.

Our desired effect is a natural and inviting, alive and full of personality, interior space. With the use of creative angles and styling, we work closely with designers and stylists, creating a fast-paced photo-shoot, completing as many as 15 final shots in one day!

Arrowood’s pricing structure is set up with the customer in mind. To prove our success in capturing your vision, we shoot many as vignettes and rooms and time will allow.  You are not required to purchase every final image, only the ones that mean the most to you and your brand.  We also have a tiered pricing structure for clients with 5 or locations.
