Never take a smile for granted :: Backyard wedding - Covid Style!

Mansi and Sanjit's wedding day was so memorable and a joy to capture. Micro-weddings, backyard weddings, pandemic weddings, whatever you want to call them are just as special as a big church or vineyard wedding. Of course, all weddings are times to celebrate but these intimate backyard weddings are incredibly intimate. Everyone in attendance can attest, being together right now just feels right, and maybe more important than ever. Every time I capture a covid wedding, it leaves feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and so ready for pandemic to end. Mansi's father played the biggest part in planning the wedding - he had a bridge built over the pool, invested a ton of resources in live streaming and managed to organize a ton of videos from friends and family who could not attend. As you can see from the photos, much thought was put into the floor plan of the ceremony, dinner and reception to allow for the "pod" social distancing. At no time did I feel compromised. And we managed to do a private bride and groom portrait session so they could take off their masks and show their beautiful smiles. I never knew how much I took a simple smile at a wedding for granted.
