A wedding in the middle of the southwest desert? Yes, absolutely. The natural beauty of the landscape, vast rolling hills and sultry sunsets... One of my favorite destination weddings to date was held in Taos, New Mexico. The bride and groom are an awesome couple with a cool, edgy style. With their team of wedding pros, they created a memorable weekend for wedding guests in the middle of the southwest desert. The outdoor wedding ceremony had gorgeous mountain views as the backdrop. Bench seating framed each side of the aisle, with flower pots lining the runway. For the evening reception, guests were invited to a large tented space with strings of edison lights casting a warm glow above the tables. Inside, the decor was industrial-modern with a mix of rustic elements and materials. And of course, being in the desert, I couldn't help but capture the big open sky; the clouds, the sunset... it's irresistible. Thanks for checking out this southwest desert wedding.
