A Vibrant Indian Wedding in the Heart of San Jose
-
Originally celebrated at the Fairmont San Jose, this downtown landmark is now Signia by Hilton San Jose. The hotel’s grand ballroom and central location made it a natural setting for a large Indian wedding, with plenty of room for the traditions, family, color, and energy of a multi-day celebration.

The former Fairmont San Jose was built for large celebrations. Its scale worked especially well for Indian weddings, where guest counts can be substantial and each event has its own rhythm and requirements. The ballroom could transform completely from ceremony to reception, while the downtown location made it easy to bring large families and guests together in one place.
For us, venues like this are also about knowing how to work with scale. Hundreds of guests, multiple traditions, large family groups, and a packed timeline require a photography and cinema team that can anticipate what's happening without getting in the way.
Corinna and Kiran’s wedding was particularly memorable. Their multi-day celebration blended Hindu traditions with classic San Francisco elegance—including a Baraat procession with a horse inside the Ritz-Carlton, something you certainly don’t photograph every weekend. Their ceremony incorporated the jaimala garlands, a floral mandap, and deeply personal details, including Corinna carrying a photograph of her mother with her bouquet.
It was elegant, meaningful, energetic and completely their own.
