Wente gives us two things we love to photograph: scale and variety. There is room for the energy, color and traditions of an Indian wedding, but also quiet vineyard landscapes where we can step away for portraits. The warm California light, rows of vines and open surroundings are especially beautiful against the vibrant colors and intricate details of Indian wedding attire.
