Check out my latest published article in The Chronicle of the Horse Magazine! And yes, that's my image on the cover!!!
I had the honor to meet and photograph Sabine Schut-Kery, who is short-listed for the upcoming Tokyo Olympic Games with her horse Sanceo. The article is called "Behind Barn Doors: Toyon Farm". It was the perfect combination of all of my favorite photography: Interiors (barn), horses, horse and rider, lifestyle, dogs, horses and portraits.Â
Toyon Farm is nestled in Carneros wine region, between Sonoma and Napa wine country. The driveway is lined with eucalyptus trees, as you arrive at the gate, you get a peek-a-view view of the arena at the top of the property. Both winery and equestrian facility, it has breathtaking views of the vineyards and Napa Valley countryside.Â
I had a difficult time picking a favorite between Sanceo (Sabine's prize olympic horse)Â and Romo (Sabine's dog) - they both stole my heart.
